DAS
DAS (digital assorting system) is a solution that displays the quantity of products to be distributed by destination on digital displays based on order information entered into the WMS. It allows products to be quickly and accurately sorted by placing them into multiple tote boxes simultaneously according to their respective destinations.
Solution description
1. Tote boxes move along the conveyor
2. Check the sorting quantity on the digital display
3. Pick the indicated quantity from the tote box
4. Place the product into the box
- The tote box containing products moves along the conveyor to the work line for sorting
- Order information is sent from the WMS to the digital display, showing the quantity of items to be placed into each tote box and lighting up the “Confirm” button
- Pick the indicated quantity of products from the tote box on the conveyor according to the digital display
- Place the picked items into the corresponding tote box and press the “Confirm” button on the digital display to complete the task
