Miniload is an AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) in which a shuttle crane moves along a single rail both vertically and horizontally to pick tote boxes containing ordered items in PC or box units and deliver them for outbound processing.
It can be integrated with a Goods-to-Person (GTP) workstation to enable seamless handling and outbound operations.
Solution description
1. the shuttle crane moves to the location of the ordered item
2. the shuttle picks the tote box
3. the picked tote box is delivered to the conveyor
4. the tote box moves along the conveyor to the GTP station
1. order information is sent to the WMS, and the shuttle crane moves to the location of the tote box containing the ordered item
2. the shuttle moves to the tote box location and picks the entire tote box
3. the picked tote box is transferred via the shuttle crane to the conveyor interface and discharged
4. the discharged tote box is transported along the conveyor to the GTP (Goods-to-Person) station or the designated destination
