Shuttle Rack
Shuttle rack is an AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) that uses multiple shuttles placed on each level to pick tote boxes containing ordered products in PC or box units and deliver them for outbound processing.
It can be integrated with a GTP (Goods-to-Person) station to enable handling and outbound operations.
Solution description
1. the shuttle moves to the location of the ordered item
2. the shuttle picks the tote box
3. the picked tote box is delivered to the lift
4. the lift transfers the tote box to the conveyor
1. order information is sent to the WMS, and the shuttle moves to the location of the tote box containing the ordered item
2. the shuttle moves to the tote box location and picks the entire tote box
3. the shuttle carrying the tote box arrives at the lift and unloads the tote box
4. the lift, loaded with the tote box, moves up or down to the conveyor interface and discharges the tote box
